Ce mois-ci a été très difficile pour moi en raison de plusieurs décès dans ma famille. Je suis revenu de Tchéquie mi-octobre mais durant les quelques mois passés, j’appréhendais déjà ce qui pourrait arriver. De plus, une fois revenu, je n’ai pas pu participer au marché annuel d’un moulin de la région comme prévu ni organiser l’atelier ainsi que le spoonclub précédemment annoncés. On est donc toujours assez silencieux ici au Mafa pour l’instant. Néanmoins, la communication continue et mon activité prend plus d’ampleur du fait d’un lieu de vie de mieux en mieux organisé. J’ai ainsi mis quelques créations à vendre dans la section appropriée de ce même site internet bien qu’elles soient seulement réservées à la Grande-Bretagne pour le moment. Par ailleurs, vous pourriez me rencontrer au petit marché d’Oster dès la semaine prochaine (5.11.)
De plus, je propose de se rencontrer le 23 novembre autour d’un atelier pour débutants (9h-15h) et d’un spoonclub (commençant à 15h30) pour les personnes qui ont envie de passer une après-midi ensemble dans un environnement agréable, simplement pour le plaisir et le partage d’une passion. Les conditions restent les mêmes que précédemment mis à part le fait que la météo étant dorénavant moins clémente, les frais de participation au spoonclub seront de 15€ car s’il ne fait pas vraiment ensoleillé, on trouvera refuge dans la salle collective chauffée du fenil au sein du Mafa.

This month was very difficult for me because of death in my family. I have returned from Czechia in the middle of the month but for months ago i was afraid of what could come and also after return i was not able to participate at the annual local market as was planned nor organise the announced workshop with the Spoonclub meeting. We are still very silent here at Mafa then, nevertheless the news spread and my activity is growing as we also take every month a little step futher with complicated settling (due to my frequent visits in Czechia). I have placed quite a few carvings for sale to the Carvings section of this web though these are for sale in the UK at the moment only. You may meet me at the little wednesday markets at Oster starting next week too (5.11.)
Now i open again the possibility to meet the 23rd of November – there is a morning (starting 9 o’clock) to afternoon (3 pm) workshop for beginners and Spoonclub (starting 15:30) for participants or carvers who want to spend time together in a nice environment in the afternoon, have fun and share the passion. Conditions stay similar as before, just the fact that we can’t expect the same weather makes me rise the participation fee for Spoonclub to 15 euro as if it is not really sunny we will take refuge at “le fenil” collective heated room inside the Mafa building.
