Après avoir attendu le bon moment et avoir fait passer le message, je suis prêt à organiser des activités très locales – un atelier “sculpter sa cuillère” pour débutants, suivi d’un Spoonclub. La date à retenir est le dimanche 19 octobre. On sculptera ensemble en-dessous des arbres ou, en cas de mauvais temps, on trouvera refuge dans le fenil du Mafa. Le prix pour participer est de 50€, ce qui est un prix d’ami, soulignons-le 😉 L’atelier commence à 9h et se terminera à 16h. Une
pause casse-croûte est prévue à un moment convenu ensemble. Apportez vos outils ou empruntez-les ici pour 15€ (couteaux droit et incurvé et hachette). Ces outils mis à votre disposition sont d’une haute qualité et il est également possible d’acheter les couteaux.
Vous pourrez apprendre beaucoup à propos des façons de sculpter une cuillère, des outils utilisés ainsi que des techniques efficaces et sans danger, des notions de design et d’entretien.
Les connaissances de base ainsi acquises à l’atelier sont importantes pour participer au Spoonclub qui commencera à 17h ce même dimanche 19 octobre et qui se terminera aux alentours de 20h. Dans le cas où vous avez déjà de l’expérience et que vous connaissez les techniques de création d’une cuillère, vous pouvez venir sans vous inscrire à l’atelier. Le spoonclub est ouvert à tous. Il n’y a pas de prof, l’idée est de passer un bon moment à sculpter ensemble sans explication de méthodes, juste en discutant et en regardant, autour d’une tasse de thé, café ou tisane et de biscuits ou d’un morceau de gâteau qui feront partie de chaque rassemblement. Vous pouvez évidemment apporter quelque chose à partager, sauf de l’alcool vu que nous travaillons avec des outils tranchants. Le prix par Spoonclub est de 10€.
Le spoonclub est amené à être organisé une fois par mois.

Hi Folks! After some time waiting for the right moment and spreading the word i am ready to organise very local affair – Spoon carving workshop for beginners, followed by Spoonclub gathering. The date it all takes place is the 19th of October. We will carve outside under the trees or in case of a bad weather we can take refuge at the inside space of Mafa homestead. The entry fee is 50 euros, which is a friendly price indeed 😉 The workshop starts 9 am and we will end 4pm. There will be a lunch break at time we decide together. Bring your equipment or borrow it from me for 15 euro if you wish so (streight and curved spoon knives and an axe). The tools you can use so are of high quality and it will be possible to buy the knives (then you get 10 euros payed for borrowing them back).
You can learn a lot about the way of carving spoons, tools we use and safe and powerful techniques, design and care.
Your basic skills obtained at the workshop are important for coming to the Spoonclub gathering that will start five o’clock (5pm) that same day the 19th of October. We finish 8 pm or so. In case you have already some experiences and you know the techniques for carving spoons you can come over without subscribing to the workshop. It is opened to everyone. There is no teacher at the Spoonclub and people come to enjoy carving together in a circle without explaining methods, just watching and chatting, drinking free tea, coffee or herbs and having some cookies or a piece of cake that will be part of every gathering. You are very welcomed to bring something others may enjoy, no alcohol though when working with sharp tools please. Starting price per the evening is 10 euro Spoonclub is about to happen once a month.
